Colloquy on October 22nd: “Work”

Our next Colloquy will take place on Sunday, October 22nd, at 4 pm at the Panera Bread Restaurant in Wilmette (details below).  “Work” is the topic.

A colloquy is a meditative, reflective event intended to stimulate thought, deepen reflection, and inspire individuals to grow their commitment to a more ethical life, one aspect at a time. Not a debate, not an advice forum, not exactly a discussion, a colloquy is meant to help each of us learn from each other and grow in understanding of others and ourselves.

We’ll meet in the meeting room of the downtown Wilmette Panera Bread restaurant, 1199 Wilmette Avenue, just east of Green Bay Road, in Evanston (map). If you are coming from points south of Wilmette, there is a convenient northbound Metra train arriving just one block north at 3:59.
We’ll use the words of others and of each other, leavened with a bit of music, to spend quality time with each other and ourselves. Please join us. Tom Hoeppner will convene the Colloquy.
